Nordic Lace Mitts

Lace Fingerless Mitts Knitting Pattern

The pattern for these fingerless mitts came about after I’d made the Nordic Lace Hat and still had loads of yarn left! Because the lace knitting pattern goes far, it meant that they were quick to knit and didn’t use up much wool. They also look much more complicated than they are. If you have made the hat or the Nordic Lace Cowl, you will know that this lace stitch pattern is quite easy to pick up – making this set a good project for those starting out knitting lace.

The sizing is set on different needles, simply so the pattern meets up and the increases and decreases fit in well with the lace pattern.

This is a good fun knit and you’ll be finished in no time!

I used less than 200g of DK yarn to make all three of these, the hat and mitts with 100g, and the other skein for the cowl. The yarn goes such a long way in this pattern 🙂
