Also available as a bundle with Elana’s Corkscrew Beanie for £5.00 here
This is an easy pattern that is great for a first “knit and purl” project and will get you working in the round as well. For those of you more experienced, it’s a fun knit that can be completed in just a few evenings.
The result is a really snug, cosy beanie hat that swirls all the way to the top.
Based on the popular ‘Elana’s Corkscrew Beanie’, this is the adult version of the hat. Starting at the hem with a 1×1 rib and options for a turn-up rim, the pattern spirals up towards the crown with decreases worked into the corkscrew pattern. Knitted in chunky-weight Rowan Cocoon this will be a quick project for experienced knitters and can be completed within a couple of evenings.
