Where did the last week go?

I haven’t stopped blogging, I’ve just lost a week! The sad thing is, I haven’t really got much knitting done either, I’ve been trying to get the neck of my bolero right, and every time I get somewhere near it, I change my mind and frog it back again.  Argghh!

So here are a few photos from the last week..

Another lunchbreak, and here I sat to knit..

As you can see, it’s been pretty glorious here! I have been preparing this week, as it’s my last day at work on Friday before I go self employed (excluding the odd shifts I will be working in my lovely local pub.)

Bring it on!

  1. The pictures are terrific. My faves: the balloon from your window, the yo-yo statue, and your last lunch break shot. Being self-employed is scary but oh so exciting! I’m sure you’re going to be just fine. Take it one day at a time, and don’t worry about things you can’t control. Things always have a way of working out when we let ’em!

  2. Lovely pictures, especially the bike! How exciting for you, off on the road to self determination, wishing you all the luck in the world 🙂

    1. Thanks tracy! I’m a little bit scared but these things always work out, right?!

    1. I don’t know where I’ve been recently – I haven’t spent much time reading any blogs either! I started on twitter and that zapped a bit of my time, whoops! Time to catch up now methinks 🙂

  3. I have always wanted a latte machine, that is my favorite way to have coffee.
Was that your bike in the picture, its really cool looking.
That is a lovely view to knit with. I love knitting outside as well.
That reminds me … I should pick up my needles again.
    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Alma! Yes it was my bike, it’s from Holland and has 3 gears, but it’s beautiful and feels a bit like a toy to ride, so I love it! Sadly the coffee machine was the one at work, not my own – I’d really love one someday too!

    1. Thank you, I will try! I will miss playing with the coffee machine at work though, I have to say!

    1. Thank you! Time out for a few days and then LOTS of knitting 🙂 🙂 🙂
