Stepping into cardigan design territory.. (And some holiday snaps)

This is a quick post, but I just wanted to say hi! I’ve been on holiday for the last week, and only now after 3 days back am I getting back into normal life!

This weekend I’m on the case working on my newest (and biggest) design – a lovely hooded cabled cardigan in Rowan Wool Cotton.

That isn’t the best picture, but as I say this is a quick post as I feel I should be spending more time working on it than taking photos!

In the meantime, here’s a snippet from our little road trip in Spain – Cantabria to Galicia and back 🙂

Sardines, yum!

  1. A two headed cow and cyber camping?! What a lovely trip – did you have a great time? I had to look close at the cow 😉 and I have no idea what cyber camping could be. Maybe a virtual visit to the woods?
How’s the cardigan coming along? I see your design book in the pick, are you finding it handy? Can’t wait to see your progress!

    1. hello! Yes I am finding the book handy, I’m so poor at drawing its good to have the form there ready. The cardi is all worked out, I’m just rethinking which stitch patterns I want to include and being a bit indecisive about it!

  2. It looks gorgeous there! Looks like you’ve had your creation batteries charged too. 🙂 I love that yarn you’re using, looking forward to seeing the finished cardigan.

  3. When I saw the sardines I thought it had to be Spain!

How about that then…I live in Spain and I still haven’t been to Galicia…a place I’m itching to visit tch!
Love the photos its looks gorgeous . Did you bring any wine back from Rioja
At least it is cooler up there than down here in Alicante.

    Keep well

    Amanda 🙂

    1. You have to go! I’ve only ever visited northern Spain, (I would have liked to go south as I wanted some sunshine, but there was no surfing!) Out of the three counties we visited Galicia was our favourite. It was much less touristy and had a good personality to it 🙂 I wish we’d flown to A Coruna thinking about it and maybe gone down to Portugal – this will have to be the next one!
