Please welcome the newest addition to my collection – Edith Mitts and Mittens. Designed and knitted in the lovely Solid Aran BFL from A Stash Addict, these are perfect for a last minute gift or treat to yourself as they knit up so quickly! I created one pair in a day (I’m told that’s fast but I beg to differ.)
Originally this pattern was just going to be available as mittens however, I got halfway through and decided they made pretty cute mitts too, so instructions are included for both.
Knitted in aran weight yarn on 4mm (US6) needles, you will be well away with this project, which is largely stocking stitch with a sweet lace motif on the front.
The full mittens are unbelievably cosy!
The pattern comes in three sizes, S,M,L, however, if you are in between sizes, I would recommend you knit the smaller of the two, as there is a lot of room in each pair.
