Finished! Serendipity Cardigan

I LOVE this cardigan. The only problem is it’s been too warm to wear it, but I can’t really complain about that!

The pattern is Shapely Boyfriend by Stefanie Japel, worked in Serendipity Tweed by Brown Sheep.  Favourited in May, cast on in June and finished in July. I adapted the pattern to work with my DK gauge – it’s written for aran but I wanted something more lightweight.

The cardigan is worked top down in the round, it was so quick and enjoyable to knit, and it fits great.  This photo was taken for “On My Needles” in issue 62 of The Knitter.

I just wish I could get all my FO’s photographed by Jesse Wild!

  1. So beautiful! I swear, every time I see a cardigan that makes me go “oooooh, I need that,” it turns out to be Shapely Boyfriend and I remember – YET AGAIN – that I need to knit that. I don’t know why I only remember that pattern exists when I’m looking at it, but one of these days I really hope I remember and finally just knit it already.
